She's the only Republican that has the guts to stand up to Obama. They have been picking at her for over a year and have not brought her down, no matter
what bs they throw at her. She must have talked about twenty minutes not only WITHOUT A TELEPROMPTER, but it seemed unscripted.

Absolutely not, she had 15 ethics complaints and all 15 were dismissed. Even media people who don't like her said they were trivial.
We should see some interesting contrasting media reporting between Obama and Palin. |

I was just being facetious. I don't really think she is stepping down because they ran her out. It would take more than what they've thrown at her. The
way I see it, it is all due to them running scared. How do you get rid of an enemy? You defang it, humiliate it, make it the brunt of every late night joke,
etc. That's what they are doing. They have been working overtime. So they must be terrified.
Go Sarah!!!!!! And I am not even a fan.

I think she's showing quite plainly that she places far more importance on her own personal, political aspirations, than she does on serving the people of
Alaska who elected her. If she is gearing up for a run in 2012, and I would be astonished if she isn't, and she feels she needs over 3 years to prepare,
then perhaps those of us who said she wasn't ready and wasn't qualified to be VPOTUS were right.

Could it be that she felt she couldn't devote the time to her Governorship as she should? Or that all the attacks being made, complaints, and probes, were
just not good for the state? I'm sure she has many reasons, and has thought long and hard about them. I don't think it's a spur of the moment
thing.

I swear is was right here that people complained whenever she left Alaska to go to anything political. They said it was wrong for the Alaskan people.
Andrea Mitchell said on MSNBC that Sarah is quitting politics for good. I hope she's wrong. She is a half million in debt fighting ethics charges for wearing a logo on her shirt and holding a fish up. So, maybe someone has offered her a job. But, it sounded like she was going to work for the country....so hopefully she will run. |

Palin said she planned to make a "positive change outside government," without elaborating. She also expressed frustration with her current role as governor. I swear it sounds like she has a job offer.......damn, I'm going to have to sign up for twitter. |
