I'm trying to find a reference book that has the origins and meanings of these sayings...it's always been a source of interest to me. And yes of course he had to be egocentric. My friend worked atSony Records and when he came, everyone had to stay in their offices and close their doors. Tavis Smiley had two guests on his show to talk about the social ramifications of Michael and how he succeeded in a white supremacist society. MJ was denied the cover of Rolling Stone because he was black. And he had to fight his way on to MTV, as they said, to make MTV rich. And there was a clip of a third guest who told a story about Jackson in a recording studio. He had such great breath control, he danced while he was recording the song.
